In order to accurately estimate your project, we will make time to see it in person and talk with you about it. Each project is unique and comes with its own set of opportunities and challenges. At Liston Brothers Construction, our focus is on giving you the best value we can for the money you spend. Our goal is to not only provide you with excellent service and the results you want, but also to leave you feeling compelled to tell others about your positive experience with us. We want you to be proud of your project and thrilled to tell people that you used Liston Brothers Construction.
When we meet with you to discuss your project, Liston Brothers Construction will work through all of these issues with you to help you decide if the project is one that makes sense for you and your needs. On average, nearly fifteen percent of the country’s population moves to a new home every year. It is important to us that we do everything we can to help you maintain the value of your home and see a positive return on your investment -- whether it’s the home you will keep forever, or the one you’ll someday sell. We also look at the functionality of your home and work with you to make sure that your project will improve your quality of life while you’re there.
Our workload varies. We typically book jobs anywhere from three weeks to a month out. However, the depth of the project will ultimately determine how quickly we can get to it. Once we’ve met and discussed your project in more detail, we can better approximate both a start and completion date.
Our goal in scheduling projects is to make sure that there is always time for us to pay attention to the details of each and every project, and maintain good communication with our customers throughout. We always focus on production, but we don’t rush jobs or cut corners to get done...ever. Once we start on yours, we will want to take the time required to get it right.
In general, no. We are always happy to meet with you for an initial consultation at no charge to discuss a project and the feasibility of it. At that first meeting, we may be able to offer a rough ball park of what you should expect a project like yours to cost. The purpose is to see if you are agreeable to the price range. If you are agreeable with the rough estimate that is quoted and the price for the design work, we can move into the design phase. After you sign our Design Retainer Agreement, we will work with you to prepare a detailed scope of work and accompanying estimate and plans as needed. At which point you will have a firm price for your project.
We work hard to ensure that every estimate takes all facets of the project into account, and incorporates good-faith estimates from our partners and subcontractors, to find the best price for the best possible product we can deliver -- and all of that takes a good deal of research, time, and effort.
